Aircraft Faa Regulations

Aircraft FAA regulations cover a broad range of subjects. Tens of thousands of regulations exist on airworthiness, navigation, pilot training, and more. For passengers who will be flying aboard a commercial airline the FAA regulations that cover items not allowed on a plane will be of interest. The list is long and the items included here are only a mere sample of the entirety of the regulated items. Sharp items are restricted on flights for obvious reasons. Sharps include scissors, swords, box cutters, and knives. Sporting equipment has recently been regulated. You may no longer carry on items such as golf clubs, ski poles, baseball bats, and other items that could potentially cause harm. All guns are banned and do not need to be listed. Tools not allowed past checkpoints include saws, axes, crow bars, and hatchets. Passengers are also banned from bringing on explosives and chemicals that can be considered harmful.
