Airplane Injury

An airplane injury can result from a plane crash or other incident involving an airplane. In the United States the FAA, the Federal Aviation Administration, is the governmental agency that oversees all claims of airplane injury. This agency is responsible creating rules and regulations to protect the aviation industry from false claims concerning injury and to protect the general public from real injury. In order to protect the general public from injury the FAA has instituted a set of regulations on airplane safety. These regulations cover the safety of planes, the flight knowledge and ability of the pilot and crew, and other important factors. For example, the media has recently reported on pilot drug use. Fortunately, it is not as prevalent as it was five years ago. Illegal drug use by pilots can lead to serious and fatal airplane injury including a plane crash. Regulations instituted by the FAA such as mandatory drug testing have lessened the occurrence of pilots who fly after using illegal drugs.
