Airport Passenger Screening

So many people who travel by air have made the comment that they are sick of the hassle of airport passenger screening. Those in charge of this screening in the United States have plans to review the whole airport passenger screening in order to try and make it a bit more palatable for the passengers, who are paying for the privilege of standing in line, shoeless, while their belongs are x-rayed. A required trip through the metal detector, and they are done. That is, unless they are pulled to one side before boarding for one of those "random" security checks. People do understand why airport passenger screening is required. They know it is for their own safety as well as for the safety of their country. However, this knowledge does not make it easier to arrive at the airport one and a half to two hours early in order to have enough time to go through the airport passenger screening. Hopefully, some changes will be made that will resolve this situation.
