Aviation Regulation Part

Aviation Regulation Part 91 covers certain emergency situations. Part 23 covers the airworthiness of an airplane. The aviation regulations created by the Federal Aviation Administration number in the tens of thousands and are all based on consumer safety. Some of the aviation regulations are important for all travellers to know. One regulation states that if your flight time is forced to change before takeoff and it no longer fits your schedule you can ask the airline to find you a better flight at the same fare on another airline. If the airplane you are on has a forced change of schedule and you are stranded for an extended period of time the airline must reimburse you for meals and hotel rooms. And, if a passenger purchases a ticket in good faith and then becomes ill, too ill to ever again fly in a plane, or dies, the full fare is to refunded in 30 days along with any fares for travelling companions who did not use their tickets.
