Barker Plane Crash Lawsuit

In September 2008 there was a terrible plane crash leading to the deaths of several people. In this particular crash, the well-known Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, and a disc jockey, DJ AM, were injured while the pilot, co-pilot and 2 passengers were killed. The pilot was said to be experienced at flying a Lear jet but there are now questions about that claim. The crash occurred in Georgia following a concert where the band had played. It was not a surprise when there were was more than one Barker plane crash lawsuit because multiple factors are being attributed to causing the crash. Some lawsuits claim it was both pilot error and defective airplane equipment that led to the crash. Lawsuits have been filed by Barker and Adam Goldstein (the disc jockey's real name) and families of passengers killed in the crash. Also filing lawsuits are the travel company that owns the jet and the charter company. There are additional claims the airplane had faulty tires and the Airport did not follow proper safety regulations.
