Faa Administration

The FAA Administration is a United States governmental agency that falls under the umbrella of the United States Department of Transportation. The Federal Aviation Administration, (FAA), is empowered by this government agency to oversee civil aviation in America. An original aviation agency was created in 1958 and named the Federal Aviation Agency. In 1967,9 years after its establishment, the Federal Aviation Agency came under the directorship of the United States Department of Transportation and was renamed the Federal Aviation Administration. The FAA has many duties regarding the regulating of commercial and private airlines in America. The Federal Aviation Administration is responsible for the regulation of all commercial space transportation in US airspace. The administration regulates navigation in US airspace and sets inspection standards for all airlines. In addition, the Federal Aviation Administration is encouraged to develop ongoing interest in space flight which leads to new aviation technology and other advances in the aviation industry.
