Federal Regulations Aviation

Federal Regulations Aviation falls under the jurisdiction of the FAA which is the Federal Aviation Administration. They set the safety regulations for aircraft. The FAA was started in 1958 as the Federal Aviation Agency but changed their name in 1967. In the realm of their responsibility is safety, noise regulation, air traffic control and regulating US commercial space transportation. They are also responsible for documentation of US aircraft and the enforcement. Federal regulations aviation involves a large scope of duties and responsibilities. The FAA is involved in a wide range of activities involving the airline and aircraft industry including the military. Whether it is a matter of documentation for an aircraft or a matter of public safety concerning an aircraft, the FAA has authority and the responsibility for setting the regulations. The FAA has come under fire in recent years for not having accountability when disaster strikes.
