General Aviation Accident

Aircraft accidents come in all different shapes and sizes. There are many things that can cause an accident and there are many different types of aircraft. Grouping them all together would be called a general aviation accident. The term itself is non-descriptive and would probably not be used in an official capacity. A general aviation accident is only general until it has been found to have a cause. Because there are helicopters, airbuses, jets and more, an accident may at first be called a general aviation accident. Once the reporting and investigating are done, a full and formal report is documented. A report on every accident ever documented is available at the NTSB website. Information you might need on any accident, including a general aviation accident would be on file at the NTSB.
