Light aircraft are typically used for aerial photography, to carry freight from one destination to another, to take tourists on a private sightseeing tour, and for scheduled flights, often charters. Individuals as well as businesses also purchase light aircraft. Light aircraft sales are predicted to rise very soon, as individuals and businesses recover from the damage done to their bank accounts by a poor economy. The private pilots will bring their planes out of the hangers where they have been stored, as will the businesses who own their own light aircraft. Sales to fleet managers will peak as they order new aircraft for their company's needs. Often, these people will have used aircraft that they will want to sell before their new planes are delivered. Savvy buyers will be very interested in these used planes. Light aircraft sales could be said to go around in circles. Buyers take delivery of new aircraft, while used aircraft also finds another home. In time, the circle begins again.
