Military Aircraft Sales

The purchase of an ex military plane is the dream of many civilians who are infatuated with both the glamour of the military as well as aviation. There have been planes sold to civilians that have slipped through military aircraft sales that can actually get off the ground and fly. Unfortunately, they are few and far between. In most cases, you simply cannot buy an ex military plane that is capable of flight. Any plane you purchase that was once in the U.S. military will be demilled before it is sold. Anything on the plane that is classified will be removed, and the weaponry as well. The framework and covering of the military aircraft will also be cut so that flying in it would be impossible. Most of the ex military planes that can operate will come from Canada or Europe. However, it is possible in the United States to purchase a military plane known as a flying warbird, often seen at military aircraft sales. Warbirds are quite historic, and an essential part of aviation history.
