When buying a used aircraft, make sure that you have a through pre-buy inspection carried out on each plane you are considering. Yes, there is a cost for these inspections, but the price you will pay is small compared to what you could face if the aircraft you purchased had mechanical problems. Do not be afraid of used aircraft sales, but be aware that buying used aircraft is definitely not like purchasing a used car.
